Description

Puzzle Depot is a box-pushing, bug-squishing, problem-solving adventure game. Assemble an eccentric cast of characters to tackle the Depot's devious rooms and deadly foes, or bring out your inner mad scientist with a robust level editor.

History

Puzzle Depot is a redesign of Otto's 2014 free release, Depot Dungeons. A fan of the obscure and outdated, Otto designed the game to emulate old DOS games and built it with the Megazeux game creation system. Given the game's positive reception and a desire to further refine the mechanics, it was decided Puzzle Depot would be the first release for the newly-formed game studio Laughing Manatee Games. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Laughing Manatee assembled a team of Megazeux veterans and began production on Puzzle Depot.

Features

  • Put your wits to the test against hundreds of meticulously-designed rooms!
  • A retro-inspired aesthetic featuring finely crafted pixel art!
  • A variety of environments, optional paths, and extra challenges to discover!
  • An amazing ambient soundtrack created by awesome people!
  • Create and share your own levels with the World Editor!
